Cass has a Master degrees in Social Work from the University of Hong Kong, and Master degree in Expressive Arts Therapy from the University of Hong Kong. She is a Registered Social Worker (MSW) of British Columbia College of Social Workers.
Working with children and youth has always been the focus of her professional career. She has worked in school setting for 7 years, and worked in the out-of-home care services for nearly 8 years. Her practice emphasizes on providing comprehensive psychosocial assessment, and rendering counselling sessions to children and youth with traumatic experiences (e.g. child abuse and bereavement), through interplay of five major art modalities(Visual Arts, Music, dance and movement, drama and creative writing)
Besides, Cass also renders individual and group counselling sessions for children and youth who are suffering from Special Education Needs (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD), mental illness (e.g. bipolar disorder) and emotion disturbances (e.g. depression), by means of Child-centered Play Therapy and Expressive Arts Therapy.
Apart from children and youth, Cass provides individual counseling sessions and group workshops for parents with high parental stress.
