Amna Bokhari is a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) with extensive international experience in pediatric communication and feeding disorders. Formerly a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in her home country, she is currently in the process of re-establishing her professional licensure in British Columbia. In the meantime, she continues to bring exceptional value to her clinical work with children and families.
With over four years of hands-on experience across hospitals, universities, and specialized therapy centers, Amna has worked with children presenting a wide range of speech, language, and developmental needs—including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and childhood apraxia of speech. She is especially skilled in caregiver coaching, early intervention strategies, and play-based therapy, and has supported children from infancy through early school age.
Amna takes a holistic, family-centered approach to therapy. She is passionate about empowering families through education and collaboration, and is known for her calm, compassionate presence and her ability to build trust with young children. Her deep clinical knowledge, combined with her ongoing commitment to professional growth, make her a valuable member of any multidisciplinary team.
