Wing holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia, with an academic background in developmental psychology and linguistics. Her education has provided her with a strong foundation in child language acquisition, development, and communication.
Wing has over one year of experience supporting neurodivergent children and teens across group, educational, and pediatric settings. Her experience includes supporting children in structured social programs, facilitating classroom-based workshops, and collaborating with occupational therapists to implement activities that address sensory needs and promote self-regulation. These experiences have strengthened her understanding of the diverse communication, social, sensory, and participation needs of children and further developed her passion for supporting meaningful and functional communication.
Wing is passionate about pursuing a career in speech-language pathology and is committed to expanding her clinical knowledge and skills through hands-on experience. She values collaboration with speech-language pathologists and other professionals to provide individualized, evidence-based support. Wing looks forward to building positive relationships with children and families while helping children develop greater confidence in communicating and participating in their everyday lives.
