Puspita brings a strong background in supporting children through her work as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, Behaviour Interventionist, and Activity Leader with YMCA Greater Vancouver. In her SLPA role, she collaborates with Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver individualized therapy, supporting children in developing their speech, language, and social communication skills. She has hands-on experience using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and is skilled in creating and implemen ting visual schedules to help children succeed in structured and supportive environments.
Her work as a Behaviour Interventionist has given her further experience supporting children on the autism spectrum and those with diverse learning needs, while her role at YMCA has strengthened her ability to engage children in inclusive and positive activities. She believes that every child’s way of communicating is unique and meaningful, and she is passionate about helping children express themselves with confidence and joy. Outside of work, she enjoys playing musical instruments and listening to music, which inspire her creativity in supporting children’s growth.
